These days, it seems as though everyone has a mobile phone – from small children to elderly grandparents. No matter where you go, from supermarkets to cinemas, you’re sure to find someone tapping away on tiny keys or shattering the peace with a shouted conversation. Not only to these people often make noise on their phones without any consideration for the people around them – surely everyone has seen at least one theater or dance performance disturbed by the tinkle of someone’s ringtone – but they sometimes commit an even worse sin – paying more … Read more at Reverse Cell Phones

If you spend so much time in your car that it feels like a second home, then why not buy some gadgets to make your drive that much easier and fun? There are so many great car gadgets out on the market today. Here are four essential car gadgets you really should think about getting.

Cell phone charger

Everybody forgets to charge their cell phone sometimes. Hopefully, the juice left in the battery will last you the entire day, but sometimes cell phones go dead at the most inopportune times – like right before you need to … Read more at Reverse Cell Phones

National Cell Phone Recycling Week

Acording to the Star News, Verizon Wireless is taking part in the national Cell Phone Recycling Week this week (April 6-12) by asking individuals to donate no-longer used cell phones, accessories and batteries to a program called HopeLine through their retail outlets. The items can be from any long distance service and not just from Verizon. HopeLine is a charitable organization that strives to make a difference for the community by specifically curbing domestic violence.

Environment and Community

Proceeds from the recycled items will be used for domestic violence shelters and for nonprofit organizations focused … Read more at Reverse Cell Phones

Cellphone Storage Extra Income for Some Near Riker’s Island

In a recent story by the New York Times, entrepreneurs with small business near Riker’s Island and others are making extra cash by providing cell phone storage for tourists visiting the jail. With a complete ban of electronic equipment at the jail and a limited number of lockers available to store valuables outside the prison, some creative vendors and small business owners are providing storage for a small fee.
